Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, bioinformatics) and forecast market impacts through 2030
- Develop and implement strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startup partnerships and acquisition targets
- Present technology strategy insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and research labs
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property development
- Mentor emerging tech talent and foster innovation culture
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture innovation
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps with 5+ year horizons
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Executive communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
