Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry predictions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough technologies (quantum AI, neuro interfaces, etc.)
- Analyze emerging tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through compelling investor presentations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Drive ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and biotech implementations
- Mentor junior researchers and publish thought leadership in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products (e.g., quantum applications, AGI systems)
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with published research
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, decentralized AI, or climate tech
- Experience securing government grants and corporate venture capital
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for 2026-era technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
