Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies across biotech, AI, and space sectors
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ market positioning
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D and product teams
- Produce trend analysis reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Design and implement prototyping labs for experimental solutions
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or technology consulting
- Proven experience with scenario planning and trend analysis frameworks
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, neurotech, etc.)
- Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation initiatives
