Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision and market shifts
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership on future business models
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and measure ROI of future-focused projects
- Represent FutureWorks at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor emerging talent in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting market shifts and driving adoption
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning techniques
- Strong background in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or MFIA preferred)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ innovation frameworks implemented
