Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and maintain future scenario models for strategic decision-making across product development and market expansion
- Translate complex future insights into actionable roadmaps for executive leadership and cross-functional implementation
- Lead innovation workshops and thought leadership initiatives to foster organizational foresight capabilities
- Analyze global tech ecosystems to identify partnership opportunities and competitive disruption vectors
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions aligned with long-term vision
- Produce forward-looking reports and presentations for investors, board members, and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing future scenarios that directly influenced business strategy
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, trend analysis frameworks, and scenario planning
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future concepts to diverse audiences
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-focused strategies
- Certification in Futures Studies or Innovation Management preferred
