Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop data-driven future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for product innovation
- Facilitate executive workshops translating foresight insights into actionable business strategies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions emerging from trend analysis
- Author thought leadership reports positioning Nexus Horizons as an industry futurist authority
- Build and manage an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, Delphi techniques)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating futures concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or innovation frameworks
- Experience with AI/ML, biotech, or climate tech trends preferred
