Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and societal shifts to identify strategic opportunities for 2026+ market landscape
- Develop and maintain horizon scanning frameworks to monitor emerging technologies across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainability
- Lead scenario planning workshops to simulate future business environments and prepare adaptive strategies
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align product roadmaps with 5-10 year innovation horizons
- Present strategic foresight insights to C-suite executives and board members through compelling narratives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business recommendations for product development and market expansion
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Futures Studies, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Track record of developing and implementing successful long-term innovation strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects or published research on future trends
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous strategic challenges
