Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to forecast market landscapes through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed futurist thinking into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and executive briefings for strategic decision-making
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Champion human-centered design principles in future-state technology implementations
- Represent the company at global forums on future-focused topics and thought leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications or platforms
- Experience advising C-suite executives on future-proofing organizations
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on strategic initiatives with future horizons
