Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze disruptive technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product ecosystems and business models
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare organizations for multiple futures
- Translate foresight insights into R&D priorities and innovation pipelines
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track progress against strategic foresight metrics
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Maintain a proprietary foresight knowledge base and innovation framework
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects or published foresight work
