Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech) through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product/service portfolios integrating emerging technologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints translating foresight into actionable business opportunities
- Present trend reports and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Author whitepapers on future-facing topics positioning Horizon Dynamics as innovation authority
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and critical thinking frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record translating foresight into market-leading products or services
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal/business implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism, innovation, or technology ethics
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, scenario modeling)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies or high-growth startups on future strategy
