Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and disruptive forces affecting our industry through 2030
- Develop and maintain the 2026+ innovation roadmap, aligning strategic initiatives with long-term business objectives
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and marketing teams to translate foresight into actionable innovation projects
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders through compelling narratives and data-driven visualizations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry think tanks to stay ahead of innovation curves
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and social megatrends to assess potential impacts on business strategy
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with proven track record of shaping organizational strategy
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their commercial applications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience developing long-term strategic plans with measurable KPIs and implementation frameworks
- Strong presentation skills with ability to influence C-level executives and cross-functional teams
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) preferred
