Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI-human symbiosis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof business models
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses of geopolitical, economic, and technological disruptors
- Design strategic frameworks for ethical AI deployment and human augmentation
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify 2026-relevant startup investments
- Coordinate with UN Sustainable Development Goals for 2030 alignment initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Published thought leadership on 2020s megatrends (IEEE, Nature Futures, etc.)
- Experience with futures forecasting tools (Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight from WFS or APF
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-shaping initiatives implemented
