Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps by analyzing emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate disruptive concepts
- Present strategic foresight reports to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into commercial roadmaps
- Establish global innovation ecosystems through strategic partnerships with academia and startups
- Drive cultural transformation initiatives to embed futurism across 500+ employees
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation budget through data-driven ROI projections
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services with $50M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (horizon scanning, scenario planning, Delphi method)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism (books, patents, or journals)
