Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech, socioeconomic shifts, and global megatrends to develop 5-10 year innovation roadmaps
- Design and lead cross-functional labs for prototyping futuristic solutions (quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech)
- Present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and investor boards
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into development pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global innovation forums
- Build and manage a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive market shifts and black swan events
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercialized innovations
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leader in innovation or futures publications (Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi method, scenario modeling)
- Global mindset with experience in cross-cultural innovation ecosystems
