Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends through 2030
- Develop innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AI governance frameworks
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight insights into 5-year strategic planning
- Host trend-forecasting workshops with Fortune 500 executives and academic institutions
- Produce annual Future State reports with scenario-planning models for 2026+ market shifts
- Establish ethical guardrails for emerging tech adoption in regulated industries
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping sessions for next-gen solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or emerging technology consulting
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (e.g., IEEE, Nature Futures)
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neurotech, climate modeling, or decentralized AI
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercialized products/services
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Horizon Scanning or Technology Roadmapping (e.g., APICS CSCP)
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario-planning models for 2026+ market transformations
