Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks to inform product development and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to cultivate future literacy across engineering, marketing, and leadership teams
- Produce scenario-planning models for geopolitical shifts, climate adaptations, and regulatory landscapes
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startup opportunities for strategic partnerships or acquisitions
- Present compelling future narratives to stakeholders using data visualization and storytelling techniques
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and benchmark against industry best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism-related roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and research databases
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations or published foresight work
- Experience with agile innovation frameworks and rapid prototyping processes
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
