Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in quantum/AI/biotech convergence
- Translate complex futures research into executive-level strategic recommendations
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies
- Author thought leadership publications and industry white papers
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists and domain experts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption curves with 85%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities for communicating complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and Delphi techniques
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation journals
