Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and implement innovation frameworks for product development, customer experience, and operational transformation
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and business units to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author strategic foresight reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs to co-create breakthrough innovations
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology) into core business strategy
- Mentor junior innovation specialists and build a culture of continuous experimentation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with proven impact
- Expertise in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis, scenario planning)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, nanotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for communicating complex futures
- Experience building innovation ecosystems and managing cross-disciplinary teams
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism (articles, books, patents)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-shaping projects with measurable outcomes
