Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, AI ethics, and sustainable tech domains
- Develop 5-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with market evolution
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to prototype future-state solutions
- Author forward-looking thought leadership for industry conferences and publications
- Partner with R&D to integrate emerging technologies into product pipelines
- Lead scenario planning for geopolitical and technological disruption
- Mentor innovation teams in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation abilities
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFTR, Foresight Practitioner)
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or societal transformation
