Responsibilities
- Analyze technological, social, and economic megatrends to forecast market opportunities through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients navigating disruption
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops using design thinking and futures methodologies
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions in AI, biotech, and climate tech
- Present strategic insights at industry conferences and executive summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in ambiguous environments
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS, CFSP) strongly preferred
