Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize technological, social, and economic signals into strategic priorities
- Produce high-impact innovation roadmaps aligned with emerging paradigms (AI ethics, quantum computing, bio-digital convergence)
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Present strategic narratives to stakeholders using data-driven visualizations and compelling storytelling
- Establish global foresight networks and maintain thought leadership through white papers and industry talks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in futures research methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercial innovation
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
