Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts affecting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives and market evolution
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and product teams to translate foresight into actionable prototypes
- Quantify innovation ROI through scenario modeling and predictive market analysis
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, think tanks, and emerging tech pioneers
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members using compelling data visualizations
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organizational culture of anticipatory innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or equivalent field
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and emerging technology assessment
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech trajectories
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism domains preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives with measurable impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS) highly advantageous
