Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate futuristic solutions in AI, biotech, and sustainable tech
- Produce executive-ready trend reports and strategic roadmaps with quantifiable impact projections
- Champion a culture of innovation through workshops, thought leadership, and stakeholder engagement
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies and business models with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future-vision into scalable product roadmaps
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track progress against strategic milestones
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field with 8+ years in strategic planning
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives with measurable business impact
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (articles, white papers, speaking engagements)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFCS, AC/FS) preferred
