Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socioeconomic shifts, and geopolitical trends to map 2026+ scenarios
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks that inform R&D priorities and market expansion plans
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable innovation initiatives
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and executive briefings with data-driven recommendations
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing into development lifecycles
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with innovation hubs and research institutions
- Mentor junior futurists to build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, climate tech, and digital transformation trajectories
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation domains
- Experience with foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
