Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal changes impacting 2026-2030 business landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, technology roadmaps, and innovation pipelines
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future insights into corporate strategy, product development, and investment decisions
- Manage cross-functional innovation initiatives from ideation through prototyping and pilot implementation
- Establish and nurture partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation ecosystems
- Present future-focused insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives, visualizations, and strategic recommendations
- Lead a team of futurists and innovation specialists while mentoring next-generation foresight professionals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies that drove measurable business impact
- Expertise in foresight methodologies including Delphi studies, weak signal detection, and scenario planning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data from diverse sources into actionable insights
- Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing executive decision-making
- Published thought leadership in futures research or innovation strategy (articles, books, or industry reports)
