Responsibilities
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks mapping technological, economic, and societal trends through 2026
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive teams on future disruptions
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for commercial applicability
- Produce trend reports and predictive models for product development teams
- Partner with R&D to identify moonshot opportunities aligned with 2026 market projections
- Advose on regulatory and ethical implications of future technologies
- Represent Horizon at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Strategic Foresight, Business Analytics, or related field
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or trend analysis
- Proven experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive analytics
- Published thought leadership on future trends or technological disruption
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects or trend analysis
