Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, market signals, and socio-economic patterns impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for enterprise risk mitigation and opportunity capture
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications and trend briefs for C-level stakeholders
- Establish quantitative/qualitative models to forecast adoption curves and market inflection points
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions
- Advain board members on disruptive threats and strategic pivots
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience facilitating executive-level foresight workshops
- Portfolio demonstrating published future outlooks or strategic frameworks
- Strong quantitative modeling and data interpretation capabilities
