Responsibilities
- Architect and execute horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning models for disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize foresight insights into product roadmaps
- Produce executive briefings and strategic whitepapers on future market opportunities
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Establish KPIs for tracking future-critical metrics and trend accelerations
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend impact analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or digital transformation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
