Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal trends with 3-5 year impact potential
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for high-uncertainty environments
- Produce strategic foresight reports and executive briefings translating complex futures into actionable insights
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision and strategic priorities
- Establish KPIs for tracking future-readiness and innovation maturity
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Advise on portfolio strategy for emerging market opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures for diverse audiences
- Experience with foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful futures projects with measurable outcomes
