Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptors through 2030
- Develop data-driven scenario models for 2026-2030 strategic planning cycles
- Design and facilitate executive workshops on future-proofing business models
- Produce quarterly trend briefings for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D to integrate foresight into product roadmaps
- Build strategic partnerships with academic futurist networks and think tanks
- Mentor junior strategists in future literacy methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or innovation leadership
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, or related field
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies or societal shifts
- Experience with AI/ML forecasting tools and quantitative trend analysis
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or similar methodology
