Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and their societal impacts through horizon scanning and trend forecasting
- Develop strategic frameworks for 2026+ product roadmaps, identifying disruptive opportunities and risk mitigation strategies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state scenarios and innovation priorities
- Produce foresight reports and whitepapers that inform executive decision-making and investment strategies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies and develop responsible innovation guidelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, neurotech)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience facilitating executive workshops and presenting to C-level audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or strategic innovation
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi, horizon scanning)
