In this position, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D pioneers, and global thought leaders to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities in AI ethics, quantum computing applications, and sustainable tech ecosystems. Your strategic insights will directly influence product development, investment priorities, and our market positioning for the next decade.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Technology Foresight Framework using scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging threats and opportunities in biotech, AI governance, and decentralized systems
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings for the Board of Directors with data-driven future-state projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to accelerate prototyping of 2026-viable technologies
- Design ethical guardrails for next-generation human augmentation and autonomous systems
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of anticipatory intelligence across the organization
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year future-state roadmaps
- Expertise in systems thinking, trend analysis, and scenario modeling methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals or industry whitepapers
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
