Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning to identify and analyze emerging trends, technologies, and socio-economic shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks, including scenario planning and trend impact assessments
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and marketing teams to integrate future insights into innovation roadmaps
- Deliver executive-level presentations and whitepapers on future risks, opportunities, and strategic imperatives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and industry pioneers to expand foresight ecosystem
- Quantify future market opportunities through data modeling and predictive analytics
- Champion future-oriented culture through internal workshops and thought leadership initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futurist research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills to translate complex futures into actionable insights
- Experience developing C-level strategic frameworks and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Published thought leadership in futurism, innovation, or technology disruption (e.g., Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan)
