Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting our industry
- Translate future insights into actionable product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Partner with R&D to prototype emerging concepts and validate future market opportunities
- Present compelling future narratives to stakeholders through data visualizations and strategic storytelling
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and critical analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futures planning with proven impact on long-term visioning
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario development methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into strategic narratives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous transformation initiatives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-back strategy implementations
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFS, CFSP) strongly preferred
