Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 strategic foresight framework, identifying disruptive trends across AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Lead scenario planning initiatives to prepare for 3+ future horizons, developing risk mitigation and opportunity capture strategies
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready principles into development lifecycles
- Present foresight findings to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026 market needs
- Monitor global signals (policy shifts, technological breakthroughs, cultural shifts) and synthesize actionable insights
- Mentor junior futurists and build a proactive innovation culture across departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (whitepapers, journals, conferences)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ strategic frameworks implemented with measurable impact
