Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps with quantified impact assessments
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development cycles
- Author forward-looking thought leadership for executive stakeholders and industry publications
- Establish KPI frameworks for tracking emerging trend adoption and market readiness
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-state solutions with 3-5 year implementation horizons
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting or corporate futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systemic risk modeling
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing trajectories
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation portfolio
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or equivalent tier
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method) and data visualization platforms
