Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI governance frameworks
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, ethics, and commercialization teams
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging paradigms (e.g., neuromorphic computing, climate-tech)
- Translate complex technological possibilities into actionable business strategies
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board stakeholders for strategic decision-making
- Partner with academic institutions to shape next-gen curricula in emerging technologies
- Drive ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related quantitative field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight or emerging technology commercialization
- Published work in peer-reviewed journals on technology forecasting (e.g., Nature Futures)
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Proven track record influencing enterprise tech strategy for 5+ year horizons
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate-tech intersections
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets for experimental initiatives
