Responsibilities
- Lead Infrastructure Strategy: Define and execute the technical roadmap for the 2026 World Cup legacy, ensuring scalable and resilient network architectures.
- Legacy Project Management: Oversee the migration of event systems to permanent, sustainable infrastructure for local communities.
- Vendor Relations: Manage partnerships with top-tier technology providers and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Cybersecurity Oversight: Implement robust security protocols to protect sensitive fan data and broadcast assets.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present technical strategies to executive leadership and government officials with clarity and precision.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a diverse team of engineers, architects, and project managers.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, or enterprise architecture.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in network architecture, virtualization, and data center management.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing large-scale projects or teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Agile & DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
