Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care assistance during assigned shifts (evenings, nights, weekends)
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments following safety protocols
- Respond to patient calls and address immediate needs promptly
- Participate in shift handovers and team meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA certification preferred)
- Minimum 1 year healthcare or direct patient care experience
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and documentation
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
