Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures including vital signs, EKGs, and injections
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize weekend appointment scheduling
- Administer medications and treatment protocols under physician supervision
- Conduct patient education on chronic conditions and preventive care
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory management
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts) with weekday flexibility
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems and medical software
- BLS certification with current CPR credentials
- Exceptional communication skills across diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in high-volume weekend patient flow
