Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the technical vision for AI capabilities by 2026, focusing on generative AI and autonomous agents.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems capable of handling billions of inference requests.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a world-class team of machine learning engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Research Integration: Stay at the forefront of academic research, evaluating and integrating novel algorithms into our production pipeline.
- Ethical AI Governance: Establish frameworks for responsible AI, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability in all deployed models.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts for executive leadership and cross-functional product teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or applied research, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and modern Large Language Model architectures (Transformers).
- System Design: Proven track record of designing high-scale distributed systems (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous problems with innovative technical solutions.
