Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Foresight Framework using quantitative trend analysis and qualitative scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize emerging technologies with market opportunities
- Produce quarterly Horizon Reports identifying disruptive forces and inflection points
- Advise executive leadership on long-term R&D portfolio allocation and M&A strategy
- Establish industry partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present strategic vision to stakeholders and investors through compelling narratives
- Mentor futurist team members and cultivate foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and stakeholder communication skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
