Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 global innovation strategy using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional teams in designing next-generation solutions for climate resilience, AI ethics, and human augmentation
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports for stakeholders, translating foresight into business opportunities
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and policy think tanks
- Drive organizational adoption of emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an innovation-first culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future studies
- Proven track record developing 5+ year innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario modeling, and trend analysis methodologies
- Published research or thought leadership on 2026+ technological and societal shifts
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into stakeholder narratives
