Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic foresight framework, identifying disruptive trends across AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to anticipate market shifts and organizational vulnerabilities
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narrative storytelling
- Build and mentor a team of futurist analysts, fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity
- Author thought leadership publications positioning Horizon Dynamics as a 2026 industry pioneer
- Interface with global innovation networks to scout emerging talent and partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite technology strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Proven track record of translating complex trends into executable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario modeling, horizon scanning, and technology impact assessment
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate abstract concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic predictions and implementations
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CFM) preferred
- Experience with AI/ML tools for trend analysis and predictive modeling
