Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, injections, and specimen collection
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and supplies
- Schedule patient appointments and manage administrative tasks
- Coordinate patient education materials and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings (5 PM - 1 AM) and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
