Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and mobility assistance
- Document patient observations and care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care transitions
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety regulations
- Support patients with activities of daily living during overnight shifts
Qualifications
- Current Maryland CNA or HHA certification required
- Minimum 1 year experience in overnight healthcare settings
- BLS/CPR certification from accredited institution
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules
- Valid Maryland driver's license preferred
