Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and administer medications during overnight shifts
- Coordinate emergency response protocols and incident reporting
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation systems
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for continuity of care
- Implement safety protocols and infection control measures
- Provide patient education and support services
- Participate in weekend rotations as scheduled
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing or Health Science (required)
- Current Illinois RN license or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS/ACLS certification (maintained)
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
