Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in electronic health systems
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care
- Safely operate medical equipment including IV pumps, monitors, and diagnostic tools
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during high-stress situations
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or EMT license required
- Minimum 1 year experience in acute care or hospital setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and calm demeanor under pressure
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) 11 PM - 7 AM
