Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend night shifts, including vital monitoring and medication administration
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and clinical competence
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and healthcare protocols
- Assist with patient admissions and discharge procedures
- Support infection control measures throughout the facility
Qualifications
- Current Illinois RN/LPN or CNA license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in acute care or emergency settings
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Proficient in EMR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
