Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning frameworks for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-optimized neural networks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Translate theoretical quantum algorithms into production-ready systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-AI hybrid architectures
- Secure and manage $5M+ research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive innovation through quarterly hackathons
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and classical computing
- Strong track record of securing government or industry research funding
- Experience leading technical teams of 5+ researchers
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
